AGETIP - SENEGAL: IMPLEMENTATION AGENCY FOR PUBLIC INTEREST WORKS
AGETIP I.
- To participate in defining the concept of support project for unskilled employment;
- To study the legal set up of the Implementation Agency.
- To analyze the legal environment, a precondition for creating a new structure adapted to institutional provisions and answering financial backers' requirements.
- To study the Agency's tax system.
- To draft the Agency's by-laws.
- To draft the Rules and Regulations.
- To draw up the agreement signed between Senegal and I.D.A.
(International Development Agency, World Bank).
- To draw up the Agreement signed between the Senegalese State and AGETIP.
OTHER AGETIPs
- Assistance in transferring the Senegalese Model to other countries: Burkina-Faso, Niger, Chad, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Sao Tomé and Principe, Mali.
AGETIP II: Expansion of the Agency's activities.
The Firm's mission consisted in:
- Indicating the procedure recommended for expanding the Agency's activities.
- Identifying changes in the legislation governing the Agency brought about by the expansion of activities.
- Producing draft agreements, modified texts, i.e.:
1. Agreement between the Government and the Agency;
2. Modified by-laws and draft legal scheduling;
3. Rules and regulations;
4. Draft delegate project ownership project.
